ESC Design Specialist
Mr. David Dinu is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) with 17 years of experience. His careful attention to details has lead him to specialize in both designing environmental construction operations (ECO) plans and in monitoring construction sites for environmental regulatory compliance in Calgary and Western Canada. His expertise and vast experience has allowed him to provide designs and construction monitoring for several private municipal companies (e.g., land developers, contractors, and builders), public entities (e.g., The City of Calgary, The City of Medicine Hat, and Alberta Transportation), and resource-based industries (e.g., Imperial Oil Resources Limited, Inter Pipeline Ltd., and Devon Canada Corporation).
He has also served as the primary Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) consultant for The City of Calgary Transportation Infrastructure for various transportation projects. Further, he has designed and monitored over 30 ESC and ECO plans for pathway projects of varying sizes for The City of Calgary Parks.
Mr. Dinu has considerable field experience developing onsite erosion control strategies with client representatives, and subsequently arranging, supervising, and reviewing ESC site maintenance activities. His experience also includes project management, water turbidity testing regimes design, hydrological field work, and postfield data organization.
