Erosion Control Central is always on the lookout for the newest talent coming into our industry. Our team members take their role as protectors of the environment and of our clients very seriously, so it’s important for anyone who wants to work with us to understand that having a successful career in this industry requires integrity and honesty.
Our team is a one-stop shop for the consultation, design, implementation, and the management of all erosion and sediment related needs for our clients. This means it is entirely up to our team to ensure that all legislation is followed and the environment is unharmed. That’s a lot of responsibility, and we expect our team members to understand that.
As Western Canada’s premier company in erosion & sediment control design and management, we believe in constantly bettering our techniques and knowledge, so we are better able to follow the most up-to-date best practices and expand the services we offer.
Requirements
Education is a top priority at Erosion Control Central. Our team members have earned their CPESC certification (Certified Professionals in Erosion and Sediment Control), which is recognized as one of the top designations in Canada. We are also certified inspectors in sediment and erosion control (CISEC) and certified erosion, sediment, and stormwater inspectors (CESSWI). A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, and Environmental Design is an asset.
We require all of our team members to attend annual conferences, and we provide full in-house training. During training, you will attend new employee orientation as well as ongoing weekly training sessions.
